FAQ

  • What is the difference between a bikini wax, bikini full, and a brazilian?

Bikini Wax: hair is removed from panty line and across the top. Perfect for someone who is interested and new to waxing, not ready to commit to a full brazilian, just wants to start slow.

Full Bikini: removes hair from vulva- front only (no butt strip) bare, we'll take as a little or as much off as you'd like

Brazilian: hair is removed from vulva bare or (as much or as little off) includes butt strip

Please let us know how much hair you’d like to remove.

  • Does getting a Brazilian wax hurt?

I like to be honest and say yes. However everyone’s pain tolerance is individualized therefore there is no set way to describe to rate the level of pain. Your first time you will experience the most pain with consistency of every four weeks, the pain will minimize. The pain is immediate with some discomfort but it is temporary and subsides pretty quickly. You should not leave the appointment walking weird, being sore or needing to ice down the area.

We have mastered a technique to minimize the pain. Almost every single new client I have ever had has said that their Brazilian didn’t hurt nearly as much as they expected! Staying consistent with your waxes can aid in less pain due to less hair growth.

  • How long should my hair be?

Please be sure your hair is at least 1/4 inch in length (about a grain of rice) by your appointment date.

  • How often should I come in for an appointment?

For best results, we like to prebook our clients before they leave their appointment to guarantee a hairless finish. Every 4 weeks is our go to. With consistency and more time , we can alternate our often you come in ranging from 4-6 weeks.

  • Can I get waxed while pregnant?

Yes, absolutely. Clients are able to get wax up until about a week or two before their due date. We ae able to work with client to minimize any discomfort from laying down. Client may experience a little more sensitivity. Please consult with your doctor to make sure.

  • Can I get waxed during the time of the month?

Short answer is yes. Long answer it depends on you and your comfort. If your cycle comes a day or two befor your appointment, you can reschedule. If you would like to keep your appointment, we just ask that you wear a fresh clean tampon. We provide wipes and tampons at the studio.

  • Do I need to trim my hair?

No, put the scissors and clippers down and leave the trimming to the professional. If too much is cut off, your final results won’t be as smooth. If we feel the need to trim we would do so prior to starting the service.
